Magical Number 1089

 Follow the following steps:
Take any three digit number (any number will do as long as the first and last digit differ by 2 or more. Example 289, 755. But not 354 because the first and last digit differ by 1)
Reverse the three digit number (basically read it from right to left)
Now between the numbers you have above in step 1 and 2, subtract the smaller from the larger one.
Reverse the result you get in step 3, add it to the number you got in step 3.
What answer do you get? 1089. Always 1089.
Can you prove why the result is always 1089?

Example:
1. Number is 239
2. Reverse of 239 is 932
3. 932 - 239 = 693 (subtract the smaller from the larger number)
4. Reverse of 693 is 396 and we add it to 693.
5. 693 + 396 = 1089.
Try with any other three digit number (as long as the first and the last digit are differ by 2 or more)

How much time would your child take to do the following calculations without a calculator ?

5. 96 X 98

Through our innovative teaching methods we can train your child to do all these calculations in less than
